For the season 2016/17, park designer Pavel Stratil and his shape crew created a creative and particularly ambitious park setup for jib-fanatics. But who are the people behind this amazing outcome. Multimedia shaperess Rebecca Heinrich gives us a little hint: „Besides park designer Pavel Stratil and head shaper Gabriel Spalek, the shapers Patrick Hasak, Jakub Vavrecka, Friedrich Forchel, Tor Rhemmerde and Jiri Marak are the people behind the scenes.“

This is Rebecca’s first season as shaperess and she likes her job a lot. The former Tyrolean ski instructor enjoys her life at the Planai. Her highlight of this season so far is the cold wave of mid-January. “The -27 degrees were a real challenge on the mountain and for once very different from the average Austrian winter temperatures.” Also the Girls Shred Session was a special moment for Rebecca: “It was wicked to see only girls in the park who have fun and shred it for real!” She can totally see herself working as a shaperess again next season. “I can’t even imagine to work without snow anymore. I enjoy it way too much”, says Rebecca.

And what is still to come for Pavel this season? “Not too much really as the big events were all done in February – now we’re only working on the daily tasks! Personally, I’m looking forward to the spring sessions”, tells Pavel. His passion for shaping and being on the mountain is still growing, even after seven seasons. “I like it here at the Planai and I still like learning new things. At the moment, this is driving the Bully for example”, he laughs.
