Make it rain!
This year’s Ski Amadé Cash 4 Tricks Tour stop at Superpark Planai
29.01.2019

On 27th January, the weather forecast once again predicted precipitation for Planai. However, this time neither rain nor snowfall came down from the sky but loads of cash instead! 35 riders impressed the judges with style, progression & sick tricks and won heaps of cash on 4 obstacles.

Once again, shredheads presented their very best to freeski judge Josh Absenger and snowboard judge Bernd Egger on different obstacles such as down tube, straight rail and down rail! “The setup was awesome! At the very end, we spontaneously extended the original setup by starting a session on the Ski Amadé pyramide”, says Bernd Egger. That’s thanks to the shape crew, who created a sick park and to QParks who organized a chill event.

Those who stood out by showing style, sick tricks or progression have been well rewarded as the total cash prize was € 755, -! Snowboarder Christoph Bednarski from Poland was one of the lucky riders: “The vibe’s been really nice! Also, everyone was super friendly, and I met a few really cool riders!” In between runs, shredheads relaxed in the chill area or enjoyed free snacks and drinks sponsored by QParks.

Overall, this year’s Ski Amadé Cash 4 Tricks stop at Superpark Planai was a chilled get-together with good vibes only. “Cash 4 Tricks is a great event because there is no competitive contest vibe. Therefore, riders don’t feel any performance pressure and they’re motivated to show what they got. And besides that, they can make a bit of money”, says snowboard judge Bernd Egger.

A massive shout-out goes out to all riders, who showed up last Sunday! Find out about Cash 4 Tricks’ other tour stops here! Superpark Planai’s next event will be this season’s Blue Tomato Girls Day on 2nd February!
